Solar Eclipse

 

Lunar Eclipses help us evolve our emotional life.  Feelings are the temperature gage of our inner life. 

If we are angry too often or blissed out and escapist we might need to have a reality check....

The eclipses cosmic job is to deliver that to you.

LEO's shadow side is narcissism.

 If you cannot feel for others right now then the Aquarius shadow side of LEO is going to rear its head and peer pressure is going to ensure that you pay attention. 

Be less self involved, be more loving now and the eclipse won't have to twobyfour you. 

I call this the sledgehammer effect.  It occurs when you have gotten dense, and reality central just has to get through to you.  You get hit by a two by four...,and, no...ducking doesn't help Dorothy!

I refer to the Wizard of Oz and Dorothy, because Eclipses bring to mind the movie line she when she turns to her dog and says, "I don't think we are in Kansas anymore..."

One door closes and another door opens on the NEW MOON Solar Eclipse on August 1st.  Leo is about our self expression, our ability to love others and to find creative ways to express  uniqueness.  We learn to share ourselves with others through the LEO transit of the Sun, often at parties and social gatherings.  Leo is the most social of all the signs, loving to celebrate life.

Leo the LION has a big heart and this is a romantic time of the year.  The eclipse may highlight arenas of the heart.  This new moon has a lot of complex aspects between planets so I don't expect anything to be cut and dry.
